Nestled in the heart of Punguduthivu, this stunning renovation project was undertaken by Whiteon Builders for Mr. Indrajith, a discerning client from France. The project’s primary objective was to restore the building’s former glory while incorporating modern features and amenities. With a duration of three months, our team of experts worked tirelessly to transform this ancient structure into a comfortable and luxurious abode.
The project involved a comprehensive renovation of the building, including the roof, floor, walls, attached bathroom, termite treatment, ceiling, doors, windows, electrical works, and air conditioning system. Our team’s meticulous attention to detail and commitment to quality ensured that every aspect of the project was executed to perfection.
The project boasts an array of impressive design features, including a beautifully restored roof with Calicut roof tiles, a sturdy floor with Grade 25 concrete, and walls that have been expertly treated to prevent cracks and fading. The attached bathroom features high-quality tiles and sanitary fittings, while the ceiling showcases a mix of I panels, Malaysian timber, asbestos sheets, and Aluminium structures.
The renovation process began with the roof, where we replaced damaged timber structures and roof tiles with new ones. We then painted the roof tiles with high-quality roof paint after washing each tile. The floor was renovated by removing the existing rubble and cement bed, replacing it with compacted gravel and a 3-inch thick Grade 25 concrete layer. The walls were treated with chemicals to overcome cracks, and the lime was removed before applying new paint. We also constructed an attached bathroom with high-quality tiles and sanitary fittings, complete with septic tanks and soakage pits. Termite treatment was carried out to secure the building from termites. The ceiling features a mix of materials, including I panels, Malaysian timber, asbestos sheets, and Aluminium structures. The doors and windows were refurbished with water-based paint and brass ironmongery, while the electrical works were replaced with new ones featuring high-quality light fittings, switches, and socket outlets. An air conditioning system was installed in the master bedroom as per the client’s request.
